At Fisherman's Wharf, wander through the colourful floating houses, do some local shopping, and enjoy a peaceful lunch at a restaurants by the water. Take a water taxi, or arrive by foot — Fisherman's Wharf is located only a few blocks from the Inner Harbour (and the Oswego and Pan Pacific Hotels).
Looking for a place with a great ocean view? Stroll along Dallas Road and the breakwater where the ocean hugs the path that leads you to one of Victoria’s most iconic lookouts.
Beacon Hill Park is an easy walk from the Inner Harbour, and is a stunning 200-acre park filled with green space, water features, and views of the ocean.
If you like to run, both Dallas Road and Beacon Hill Park are great destinations.

Johnson Street, between Wharf and Government Streets, is a unique and eclectic shopping district with a two-block stretch marked by brightly coloured Victorian-style buildings. Home to boutique and luxury shopping, here you’ll find clothing, vintage shops, and more. ANIAN is one of our favourites and focuses on sustainably made West Coast essentials. Still Life gets an honourable mention.
The Empress is one of the oldest hotels in the country and features incredible spaces with original detailing; enjoy a traditional tea service, dinner on the patio overlooking the Inner Harbour, or a drink at the Q Bar.
HAVN is a floating spa and park-like environment on the edge of Victoria’s Inner Harbour. Lush green spaces, cold pools, hot tubs, and hand-built saunas bring people together for a vibrant self-care experience.

Victoria's Chinatown is the oldest Chinatown in Canada (and second oldest in North America), and was designated as a National Historic Site of Canada in 1995.
Wander through Fan Tan Alley, the narrowest street in Canada, which is home to many small vendors and boutiques.
Explore the upper harbour on a wood-fired hot tub boat.
Each hot tub boat fits up to 6 passengers and comes stocked with waterproof speakers, dry bags for personal items, and options like Epsom salt to kick start relaxation. Get relief from the heat by plunging into the Gorge for a chilly dip.
Note: Hot Tub Boat Victoria requires an advance booking and these fill up fast during prime times (evenings and weekends). We suggest booking early!
Stroll along meandering paths through fifty-five acres of delightful floral displays at The Butchart Gardens. In 1904, Jennie Butchart began to beautify a worked-out quarry site north of Victoria. Her venture has become a family commitment to horticulture and hospitality spanning 100 years, delighting visitors from all over the world.
